Happy Blog Birthday! Thanks for your comment, you should definitely wait to run with your puppy. The rule of thumb is 9 months old (for small dogs) and 16 months old (for large dogs). One of the runners I interviewed suggested that you start training your puppy to run earlier though - put him on a leash and say you're "going for a run" and then just run around the block or something easy like that. It will train your dog to know that running time is different from play time.

Oh my gosh. Yes. This bookshelf. Amazing. Full sentence construction is clearly too difficult for me right now, but I love this so much!!!
