Hands down, books are my favorite gifts to both give and receive, but I am of course a bit partial. If you receive a book from me you can rest assured that there was some legitimate thought put into the gift-selecting process.
Here are a few ideas for those on your list that may not be as steadfast in their reading- in a few days I'll do a post for ideas for the more bookish folks.
In full disclosure, I haven't read all of these, but I've done my homework. Trust me.

Those kids books look too cute! And I always get my niece/nephews books for holidays and birthdays. I'm THAT aunt, lol.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book, but I love those Oatmeal comics!
ReplyDeleteThe Day the Crayons Quit is brilliant. I love with the beige crayon (although I'm yet to meet a child who's excited by colouring wheat).
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. So glad you plugged the Jim Henson biography. I'm a huge Muppet fan, and that book felt like such a gift. I hope a lot of people pick it up. (Did you see it won best bio in the Goodreads awards? I was so happy about that.)
