The Broke and the Bookish are once again giving us a freebie, so I decided to go with the Top Ten Character Names I'd Potentially Name My Child.
And no, I'm not pregnant (you get to a certain place in life and you have to include this statement when you say anything referencing offspring). And none of these names are actually on the potential table, I just like them. That's it. So get off my back already.

I've always loved the name Ophelia, but it seems like in naming a potential daughter that name, I'd be dooming her somehow. I LOVE the idea for this list!

I read a book when I was 13 that gave me my future child's name (I don't have kids yet). But I love finding a name in a book that I love and want to give my child. This was a fantastic list.

I like the name Benjamin but only when the kid is actually called that. I'm not overly fond of intentionally naming kids one name when you fully intend to call them something else.

Great list! I know someone who named their kid Atticus. And I know someone who named their kid Atreyu (from "The Never Ending Story" I assume.)

Such a great idea for a list! I love names that mean something. It's great to have something to connect with because of your name. Nowhere near ready to have my own kids but I'll definitely be naming them after book characters!
